Students who have flunked in class 9 and 11 will be allowed one more opportunity to show up for school-based tests taking into account the COVDI-19 emergency, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reported.

"The schools can direct either on the web or disconnected tests for the flunked class 9, 11 students. This one-time opportunity is being broadened uniquely in current year taking into account the exceptional state of COVID-19," CBSE Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj mentioned.

Student can take this test for all the subjects in which they have failed. Students will be given sufficient time to prepare for this improvement exam, before the school holds the exam.

These opportunities for improvement exams will be extended to each and every student without looking up whether their exams are completed or results are declared or even the exams have not been held.
